Additive in powder for Wall2Floor top coat

Wall2Floor Component B is a special additive in powder for the “Wall2Floor System”. To use as an additive for the Wall2Floor Top Coat only.

Wall2Floor Uses

Wall2Floor can be applied on:

Concrete
Screeds (sand and cement-based screeds, sand and specific binder for screeds, ready-made packaged screeds, self-leveling sand and cement screeds)
Radiant and refreshing screeds with minimum thickness, above pipe, between 30-40 mm
Surfaces covered with ceramic, porcelain and mosaic tiling
Klinker
Surfaces with existing epoxy or polyurethane coatings
Surfaces in natural and rebuilt stone
Mineral conglomerates of various kinds, provided they are absorbent
New and old plasters based on hydraulic binders
Organic or mineral decorative coatings

Wall2Floor Unsuitable Substrates

The Wall2Floor system cannot be applied to forkliftable surfaces, horizontal or vertical substrates that do not offer the necessary guarantees in terms of bonding and dimensional stability.

Forkliftable surfaces (garages, loading-unloading areas where the use of trolleys, transpallets, forklifts or similar, cars, etc.)
Radiant screeds with heating and cooling system
Wooden flooring
Linoleum
Pre-finished wooden flooring
Painted and unpainted uperfici metal surfaces
Glass surfaces or concrete and glass blocks
Moist surfaces or surfaces with rising damp
Do not apply to bathroom fittings or other substrates where water may be collected

Application:

Wall2Floor Epoxy Binder Component A and B + Wall2Floor Rasal: three-component epoxy-cementitious skim coat

Mixing ratio by weight: 2 parts of Wall2Floor Epoxy Binder Component A (1.6 l) + 1 part Wall2Floor Epoxy Binder Component B (0.8 l) + 25 Kg of Wall2Floor Rasal.
Dilution: the final mix (1.6 l of component A + 0.8 l of component B) must be diluted by adding 3-3.5 l of water.
Preparing the mix: stir Wall2Floor Epoxy Binder Component A to incorporate any sediment. Pour Wall2Floor Epoxy Binder Component B into Wall2Floor Epoxy Binder Component A and mix for approx. 45-60 seconds. Add Wall2Floor Rasal gradually to the obtained mix while stirring continuously. Use a mechanical spiral stirrer to blend the mix; this operation cannot be performed manually.
Mixing time: about three minutes to a uniform mix. The mix obtained must be a uniform, thixotropic mortar free of lumps. Periodically blend the mix to prevent the stratification of inert matter.
Pot life of mix: approx. 30 minutes
Application equipment: notched trowel and stainless steel trowel.
Application: apply Wall2Floor Epoxy Binder Component A and B + Wall2Floor Rasal evenly on the surface.

Coverage rate (referred to A+B mix + Wall2Floor Rasal): 3.0 Kg/m² in two layers
Drying time for thicknesses up to 3 mm: touch dry after approx. 3-4 hours; over painting possible after 4 hours.

Wall2Floor Top Coat: decorative coating for horizontal and vertical surfaces

Mixing ratio by weight: 15 Kg of Wall2Floor Top Coat + 5 Kg of Wall2Floor Component B.
Dilution: it is possible to dilute the final mix by adding up to 5% of water.
Tinting: stir Wall2Floor Top Coat before colouring. Tint using Novacolor tinting system. Mix the colouring agent with Wall2Floor Top Coat using a gyroscopic stirrer or a mechanical spiral stirrer.
Preparing the mix: only immediately before applying the product at the job site add to each 15 kg package of Wall2Floor Top Coat, a 5 kg package of Wall2Floor Component B. The powder component (Wall2Floor Component B) must be added gradually and blending performed using a mechanical spiral stirrer. The mixing of the two components cannot be performed manually.
Mixing time: about three minutes to a uniform mix. The mix obtained must be a uniform, thixotropic mortar free of lumps.
Pot life of mix: approx. 120 minutes
Application equipment: stainless steel trowel.
Application: apply a first coat of Wall2Floor Top Coat, previously mixed with Wall2Floor Component B to smooth the surface. Wait for the surface to dry, usually between 3-4 hours, and then apply a second layer of Wall2Floor Top Coat, previously mixed with Wall2Floor Component B, and work the surface to obtain the desired aesthetic effect.
