Bi-component polyurethane protective resins for “Wall2Floor” System

Clear Finish Bi-Component is a polyurethane water-based resin to be used as a protective coat. It is available as Glossy, Satin and Matt. Clear Finish Component B is a last generation hardener, formulated with polyisocyanates aliphatic, with a content of monomer HDI < 01 % in weight.

Application:

  1. Mixing ratio by weight: 10 parts of component A + 3 parts of component B
  2. Preparing the mix: stir Wall2Floor Clear Finish A to incorporate any sediment. Pour Wall2Floor Clear Finish B into Wall2Floor Wall2Floor Clear Finish A and mix by hand for approx. 45-60 seconds. You may also choose to use a mechanical stirrer with paddle at slow speed for approx. 1 minute. The final mix will be free of lumps, impurities or unmixed residues of the two components.
  3. Dilution: it is possible to dilute the final mix by adding up to 10% of water. Before applying each layer of Wall2Floor Clear Finish we advise filtering the mix using a cloth or nylon filter or a specific paint filter-funnel with a 40-90 micron mesh.
  4. Tools: medium hair roller
  5. Pot life of mix: approx. 60 minutes
  6. Application: apply two layers of Wall2Floor Clear Finish prepared in advance. Spread the product evenly and over the entire surface, avoiding build-up. Be especially careful when applying around corners and edges. Wait for sufficient drying time between one layer and the other.
  7. No. of coats: 2
  8. Coverage rate (referred to A+B mix) 6-7 m2/l, in two layers.
  9. Drying time: touch dry after approx. 4-6 hours; walkable after at least 24 hours; complete cure: 7 days. The full achievement of chemical and physical resistances will occur approximately 7 days after the application of the last layer. During this time, do not cover the surface with sheets, cardboard, etc. because it could generate aesthetic alterations of the surfaces not removable.

May also be applied over:

Protection of vertical and horizontal surfaces of Wall2Floor system.

Approximate coverage yields 6-7 m²/l in two layers, depending on the texture required and on the substrate absorption.
