Clear Finish Anti-Slip

Protective functional bi-component polyurethane

Clear Finish Anti-Slip is a protective functional product with antislip properties, easy cleaning and maintenance; it is resistant to abrasion, specific for the Wall2Floor Wellness and Wall2Floor Outdoor systems.

Used as a final protective layer, it is particularly suitable for interiors and exteriors subject to foot traffic both barefoot and with shoes, in the presence of humidity or water.

Suitable for use in the residential and commercial sector.

Clear Finish Component B is a last generation hardener, formulated with polyisocyanates aliphatic, with a content of monomer HDI < 0.1 % in weight.

Wall2Floor Uses

Wall2Floor can be applied on:

Concrete
Screeds (sand and cement-based screeds, sand and specific binder for screeds, ready-made packaged screeds, self-leveling sand and cement screeds)
Radiant and refreshing screeds with minimum thickness, above pipe, between 30-40 mm
Surfaces covered with ceramic, porcelain and mosaic tiling
Klinker
Surfaces with existing epoxy or polyurethane coatings
Surfaces in natural and rebuilt stone
Mineral conglomerates of various kinds, provided they are absorbent
New and old plasters based on hydraulic binders
Organic or mineral decorative coatings

Wall2Floor Unsuitable Substrates

The Wall2Floor system cannot be applied to forkliftable surfaces, horizontal or vertical substrates that do not offer the necessary guarantees in terms of bonding and dimensional stability.

Forkliftable surfaces (garages, loading-unloading areas where the use of trolleys, transpallets, forklifts or similar, cars, etc.)
Radiant screeds with heating and cooling system
Wooden flooring
Linoleum
Pre-finished wooden flooring
Painted and unpainted uperfici metal surfaces
Glass surfaces or concrete and glass blocks
Moist surfaces or surfaces with rising damp
Do not apply to bathroom fittings or other substrates where water may be collected

Application:

Mixing ratio by weight: 100 parts of component A + 25 parts of component B
Preparing the mix: stir Clear Finish Anti-Slip A to incorporate any sediment. Pour Clear Finish Anti-Slip B into Clear Finish Anti-Slip A and mix by hand for approx. 45-60 seconds. You may also choose to use a mechanical stirrer with paddle at slow speed for approx. 1 minute. The final mix will be free of lumps, impurities or unmixed residues of the two components.
Dilution: it is possible to dilute the final mix by adding up to 10% of water. Before applying each layer of Clear Finish Anti-Slip we advise filtering the mix using a cloth or nylon filter or a specific paint filter-funnel with a 40-90 micron mesh.
Tools: medium hair roller
Pot life of mix: approx. 60 minutes
Application: apply one layer of Clear Finish Anti-Slip prepared in advance. Spread the product evenly and over the entire surface, avoiding build-up. Be especially careful when applying around corners and edges. Wait for sufficient drying time between one layer and the other.

Coverage rate (referred to A+B mix) 10-14 m²/l, for each layer.
Drying time: walkable after at least 24 hours; complete cure: 7 days

May also be applied over:

Final sacrificial layer on the protective finishes of the “Wall2Floor system” already applied.

Clear Finish Anti-Slip must be applied as a last layer, over at least two layers of one of the Clear Finish protective finishes (Glossy, Satin, Matt, Countertop, Countertop Ultra Matt).

Approximate coverage yields 10–14 m² per layer, according to the finish of the substrate and its absorption.
