Decorative coating for horizontal and vertical surfaces, in interiors and exteriors
Wall2Floor Top Coat Fine is a mineral coating for the decoration of interior and exterior horizontal and vertical surfaces.
Application:
- Mixing ratio by weight: 15 Kg of Wall2Floor Top Coat + 5 Kg of Wall2Floor Component B.
- Dilution: it is possible to dilute the final mix by adding up to 5% of water.
- Tinting: stir Wall2Floor Top Coat before colouring. Tint using Novacolor tinting system. Mix the colouring agent with Wall2Floor Top Coat using a gyroscopic stirrer or a mechanical spiral stirrer.
- Preparing the mix: only immediately before applying the product at the job site add to each 15 kg package of Wall2Floor Top Coat, a 5 kg package of Wall2Floor Component B. The powder component (Wall2Floor Component B) must be added gradually and blending performed using a mechanical spiral stirrer. The mixing of the two components cannot be performed manually.
- Mixing time: about three minutes to a uniform mix. The mix obtained must be a uniform, thixotropic mortar free of lumps.
- Pot life of mix: approx. 120 minutes
- Application equipment: stainless steel trowel.
- Application: apply a first coat of Wall2Floor Top Coat, previously mixed with Wall2Floor Component B to smooth the surface. Wait for the surface to dry, usually between 3-4 hours, and then apply a second layer of Wall2Floor Top Coat, previously mixed with Wall2Floor Component B, and work the surface to obtain the desired aesthetic effect.

- Coverage rate (referred to the mix Wall2Floor Top Coat + Wall2Floor Component B): 1.2-1.5 kg/m2, on the two coats.
- Drying time: touch dry after approx. 3-4 hours; over painting possible after 12-14 hours

Approximate coverage yields 1.0-1.2 kg/m2, in the two layers, on the basis of the type of intervention and the status of the substrate. It is good practice to check the effective coverage via a preliminary test on the specific substrate.
